English Victorian Pine chest of drawers
Beautifully timeworn and full of character, this authentic English Victorian pine chest of drawers dates to the late 19th century and was hand sourced in England's Cotswolds. Crafted from solid pine, it has developed the warm honey patina that only decades of use can create.
Its classic Victorian layout features two short drawers over three graduating drawers, all with hand-cut dovetail joinery and original working locks. The richly aged pine is covered with the small scratches, knots, and marks that tell the story of a piece that was truly lived with. Rather than diminishing its beauty, these details give it the depth and authenticity that antique pine collectors value.
The proportions make it an incredibly versatile piece. It works beautifully as a bedroom chest, an entryway statement, a dining room storage piece, or even as a kitchen island-style dresser topped with pottery, artwork, and everyday essentials.
One of the reasons antique English pine remains so desirable is that every board, every dovetail, and every surface was crafted by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike, and the soft glow of the aged pine simply cannot be replicated by modern furniture.
A timeless piece that brings warmth, history, and quiet elegance into any home.
