19th-century English Victorian rosewood tea caddy with floral and scrolling inlay across the front and shaped lid. The richly figured rosewood contrasts with the pale inlaid details surrounding the keyhole and decorating the corners. The hinged lid opens to two separate tea compartments, each with a removable wooden cover and small turned knob. Remnants of the interior lining remain. Sourced in the Cotswolds, England.

Measurement: Approximately 9" W x 5.5" H x 5.25" D

Condition: Surface marks and wear to the exterior, with small losses around the keyhole and some edges. The compartment linings are heavily worn, and the underside covering shows substantial wear and losses. Both internal covers are present. The feet are missing, with attachment holes visible at the four corners of the base. Please refer to the photographs for details.

Sourced in England.
