A beautiful late 19th century English Pembroke table accompanied by a pair of antique ash and elm country chairs, all hand sourced in the Cotswolds, England.
Elegant yet wonderfully practical, the Pembroke table features two hinged drop leaves, allowing it to transition effortlessly from a compact side table to a dining table for two. A single drawer offers convenient storage, while the original brass cup casters make it easy to move throughout the home.

Constructed from richly patinated hardwood with hand-cut dovetailed drawer construction, the table retains its original maker's plaque from Willm. A. S. Smee, Manufacturers, Finsbury Pavement, London, a wonderful surviving detail that speaks to its English origins and craftsmanship.

The accompanying antique ash and elm spindle-back chairs perfectly complement the table. Their beautifully turned spindles, sculpted seats, and warm patina create a timeless English country look that feels equally at home in a cottage kitchen, breakfast room, library, or sunroom.
Whether used for morning coffee, afternoon tea, or intimate dinners, this charming set brings warmth, history, and everyday functionality to any home.

Measurements: Approximately 36" wide × 20" deep × 29½" high (open)

Condition: Very good antique condition with expected wear consistent with age and use, including surface scratches, minor marks, and a beautifully developed patina. The drop leaves operate smoothly, the drawer retains its hand-cut dovetail construction, and the original brass casters remain in place. The chairs are sturdy with age-appropriate wear that enhances their character.
