Antique French Gien Faience Footed Centerpiece Bowl

A beautifully shaped antique footed faience centerpiece by Gien, France, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. Decorated in deep cobalt blue on a warm ivory ground, the bowl features an elegant floral and arabesque motif with softly scalloped edges and raised feet.

Equally beautiful displayed on a dining table, kitchen island, or sideboard, it also makes a wonderful fruit bowl or centerpiece. Gentle age-related crazing and light signs of use add to its authentic character and reflect more than a century of history.
